By Pattie from Boody, Illinois I have downloaded trixbox v2.6.2.1 vmware, not that it matters , and am wondering what all will make a smooth install hardware-wise.[1] I have found that fxo x100p pci cards would work with trixbox.[2] Would an internal or external for that matter dial -up modem 56k work I also have around 6 -10 phones that are analog using the RJ-11, not voip .[3] Is there additional hardware possibly needed for the analog phones I saw there are other devices to hook up 2 RJ-ll phones through ethernet RJ-45 to a lan..[4] I am not sure if that will work..[5] The phones are picazo/dash 5 line phones meant for the telecor vs1 system that is now in place.[6] Reasons for the switch to trixbox is to hopefully cut down costs and being able to maintain our own system without forking out money every time we need ...
