| Deactivated yahoo ID without notice email deleted abuse customer service? Anyone heard of this? I had to call yahoo and find out why my email account was down. Apparently it had been deactivated and nobody bothered to mention it. They're conducting an 'investigation' of my messenger (which I never even use). Apparently, there was some 'abuse'. Nothing I do on my messenger has ever fit that category in any way. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what does it even mean? I have a lot of info stored, and they shut it down without telling me. Suggestions? They don't seem to be too concerned with fixing it. Also, they shut it down BEFORE they're supposed investigation. What could I have possibly done? A little harsh perhaps? HELP? Anybody with info. Thanks!! |

| Being a customer service faces a great challenge to encounter irate customers or good ones. But the most important thing to do your best to provide adequate services to your customers and meet their expectations. You have to learn putting yourself in the shoes of the customers and willing enough to resolve the problem. I also have a Yahoo account and gladly I don't have any terrible issues so far. |
| No one is asking more from yahoo than they promise, and just because something is free does not give them the right to abuse people without proper cause, not that abuse should ever be done, but you know what I mean. Are you sure that your account could not have been inadvertently used for something illegal like spamming? Some worms use your email provider to send off spam, and you could have been targeted like that. |
